Ghana Banking Awards
The Ghana Banking Awards is an annual award ceremony organized by CIG to identify and award participating Banks in various categories such as: Best Retail Bank, Best Corporate Bank, Best Growing Bank among others with the ultimate prize being Overall Best Bank.KPMG performs the surveys necessary for obtaining the statistical data needed used for the analysis and determining of the winners of the various categories.
Ghana Music Awards
The Ghana Music Awards is the Ultimate music award ceremony which is organized annually by Charterhouse Co. Ltd. KPMG functions as the event statisticians and is responsible for collating the score sheets, compiling the scores and determining the winners of the various categories for the night of the event.
The Gong Gong Awards
The Advertisers Association of Ghana (AAG) organizes the Gong Gong Awards which is an annual award ceremony purposely for the advertising industry.KPMG functions as the event statisticians and is responsible for the collation of score sheets completed both by the industry and independent judges during the judging process; compilation of the scores and delivering of the final list of winners on the day of the event.
Miss Ghana
The ultimate of the beauty pageants, Miss Ghana, is an annual event organized by Sparrow Productions with participants from all over the country.KPMG collates the judges' scores and processes the results on the night of the event to help ensure fair results.
Miss Malaika
Miss Malaika is a beauty pageant organized by Charterhouse and promotes beauty and elegance interwoven with social welfare and community development.KPMG collates the judges’ scores and processes the results on the night of the event to help ensure fair results.
A School for the Blind
KPMG annually sponsors the School for the blind at Wa in the north western part of Ghana, one of the most deprived regions in the country. As a Christmas tree project, 121braille writing frames and stylus were donated to the students of the school thus ensuring that each visually challenged child has the most basic of learning tools. In 2007, upon the request of the school KPMG donated Braille sheets to enable the students have their examination questions printed on the appropriate paper.
SIFE (Students in Free enterprise)
KPMG makes annual donations towards the SIFE program which is a nonprofit organization that gives students the tools to learn the free enterprise system in a real working situation.SIFE Ghana is also chaired by the Senior Partner of KPMG, J.B. Winful
AWARD for best Student in BSc Admin
KPMG is the sponsor for the annual award given to the best overall student in Bsc Admin, at the University of Ghana Legon. The award is given in the form of a cash prize in the sum of GH¢300.
HuD Fund
KPMG made a one time donation to support the HuD fund which was set up by the HuD Group. The HuD group is an organization set up to inspire and empower young people in Ghana to discover the talents and perfect their skills.
Valentines Day charity Ball
KPMG supported the Valentines Day charity ball organized by G4S in aid of Street Girls.
MCI workshop
KPMG sponsored and participated in a Kumasi workshop on the Millennium Cities Initiative
Ghana Medical School
KPMG sponsors the University of Ghana’s College of Health Sciences Endowment fund for post graduate studies in Ghana
